Editors & AI sequence the album
Our editors — real humans in Lisbon — use a custom-trained AI as their tool. The AI scores every frame for focus, light, faces, and story; clusters photographs by day and place; drafts chapter titles, captions, and a hero for each spread. A curator reviews the result and tunes it. The first edit lands in your inbox before lunch.

- How many photos should I upload?
- Between 100 and 1,500 photos works best. The editor will pick about 80 to feature across 30 pages. There’s no upper limit — bring everything, the editor sorts the rest.
- What formats do you accept?
- JPEG, HEIC, PNG, TIFF, and most camera RAW formats (CR2, NEF, ARW, DNG). Up to 50 MB per file. We convert and color-manage everything for print.
- How long does it take?
- First edit: about an hour — AI does the heavy lifting in minutes, a human curator reviews and tunes it. Approval: as long as you’d like. Production and shipping: 7–10 working days to the EU, 10–14 worldwide.
- Who actually makes my album — humans or AI?
- Both, in that order. Our editors — real humans based in Lisbon — own every album. They use a custom-trained AI as their tool to read your photos, score them, and propose a sequence and captions. A human reviews and tunes the edit before you see it.
- Can I edit what gets suggested?
- Yes — swap any photograph, rewrite captions and chapter titles, change the cover, reorder spreads, choose a different design concept. You approve before we press.
- Is my data private?
- Photographs are stored encrypted on our private Cloudflare R2 buckets, never used for AI training, and deleted automatically 90 days after your album ships, unless you ask us to keep them.
- What if I don't like the print?
- Return it within 30 days for a full refund. We’ll cover the return shipping.
